WSET LEVEL 1 AWARD IN WINES
This is a one day class, from 10am-5pm. Students must register in advance for the course. We recommend registering as soon as possible to allow yourself more time with the materials before the class and exam. Registration closes 4 days prior to class date!
The Level 1 course is perfect foundation for those students looking to begin their wine education. Through this course, students will learn to identify the main styles and types of wine, proper wine service, and how to describe wine using the WSET Level 1 Systematic Approach to Tasting® (SAT). Students will also discover the principles behind food and wine pairing, and be able to apply these skills outside of class.

- All examination fees (1 examination attempt) and course materials are included
- Students will taste a minimum of 10 wines
- Students must be 21+ to participate in any alcohol tastings, however it is not a barrier to successfully completing the course. Students 18 years of age or older may complete the written Level 1 exam.
- Successful candidates will receive a WSET certificate of completion and lapel pin
